West Florida Flames Qualify Seven Teams for Super Y League North American Finals

VSI West Florida Flames are excited to announce that they have qualified seven teams for the USL Super-Y League North American Finals. The Flames will compete at the IMG Academies this December to try and build off their successful season last year in which they won 2 National Finals. Teams qualifying for the tournament are:

 

U12 Boys- Finished 4th with a 6-2-3 record on the season. The Flames scored 32 goals while only allowing 12.

U13 Boys- Finished 3rd with a 6-4 record on the season. The Flames managed 15 goals on the season.

U14 Boys- Finished 1st with an 8-1-1 record. The returning National Champions managed 45 goals on the season while only conceding 8.

U15 Boys- Finished 1st with a 8-0-2 record. The returning National Champions produced 24 goals while giving up only 6.

U12 Girls- Finished 2nd with a 4-1-2 record. The Flames had many tight games throughout the course of the season which kept them to 11 goals for and 8 against.

U13 Girls- Finished 1st with an 8-0 record. The Flames finished 23 goals while only allowing 2 against.

U17 Girls- Qualified by a winning a home and home playoff with Florida Fire.

 

The Flames played an exciting style of soccer which proved their success. Overall the Flames teams who qualified finished with a combined 42-8-8 record while producing 153 goals. We wish the Flames good luck as they play against the best clubs that compete in the USL Super-Y League.
