VSI Player Suits up Against the US National Team

After an outstanding summer campaign for the VSI PDL team, Brentton Muhammad headed back to Florida Tech to begin his senior season for the Panthers. The London-born goalkeeper was not aware that in a few short months he would be suiting up for Antigua and Barbuda for a FIFA World Cup Qualifier against the United States. “To think 5 years ago I was just moving out to America to play football and now I’m five hours away from sitting in the dressing opposite the US National team is a dream,” said Muhammad before the match. Antigua and Barbuda nearly pulled off a shock result tied with the US Men’s Nat’s until Eddie Johnson scored his second goal of the match in the 91st minute to complete a 2-1 victory. Congratulations to Brentton and best of luck on the remainder of your college and World Cup Qualifying campaigns.
